Steve Haindl has over 20 years of executive leadership experience within the automotive, banking, financial, consulting and technology services industries. Steve is an award-winning Chief Information Officer. His achievements include Computerworld’s Best Places to Work in IT (7 times), Drexel Lebow College and CIO.com Analytics 50 in 2016, CIO Magazine’s Top 100 CIOs in 2014, and InformationWeek’s Technology Innovation Awards from 2010 to 2015. He served as the CIO and Chief Information Security Officer for Holman Enterprises from 2010 to 2022 where he directed a global team of 600 IT professionals. Steve was responsible for designing and executing the information technology strategy.

Prior to Holman, Steve held the position of Chief Technology Officer for Commerce Bank during his 10-year career. Steve has master’s degrees in technology management (University of Pheonix), Business Administration (Saint Jospeh University), and Cybersecurity (LaSalle University). In April of 2023, he finished his coursework in pursuit of a Doctoral of Business Administration from Temple University. His research topic is diversity and inclusion in the information security profession. The title of his dissertation is a CISO’s guide to hacking the diversity code.

For the last 6 years, Steve served as an Adjunct Professor at Saint Joseph’s University and Gwynedd Mercy University, where he developed and taught a special topic course for the MS program in Business Analytics to SJU graduate students, taught the Business Policy capstone course to SJU undergraduates, and teachers cybersecurity courses to GMU undergrads. Steve serves on Drexel’s Graduate Career Services Advisory Council, mentors Drexel’s MS and MBA students, Drexel 1989 alumni, and is a member of SJU’s MS BIA Advisory Board.
