Joan Klinger is July’s employee spotlight! Joan has been with CTN for 20 years working in HR!
- Before working at CTN, what was the most unusual or interesting job you’ve ever had? I used to travel twice a week from suburban Phila to JFK airport to administer tests to groups of individuals applying for baggage handling jobs. It is far from the most interesting job, but it was unusual in that they hired someone from so far away to do this.
- What are 3 words to describe CTN? Great People, Family-Oriented, Great place to work.
- Why did you choose to work in the industry you’re in (marketing, IT, etc)? My background is Human Resources. CTN had a part-time (15 hours a week) position open for Admin/HR support and I was looking for a part-time, no stress, job and that’s how I started my career at CTN which spans multiple job industries.
- Who would play you in a movie about your life? Julie Bowen.
- What is your favorite pizza topping? Cheese.
- iPhone or Android? iphone.
- What is your favorite meal: Breakfast, lunch, or dinner? Favorite dish? Breakfast- eggs benedict – although sometimes we have breakfast for dinner.
- If you could have any superpower, what would it be? Time Traveler.
- Tell two truths and a lie about yourself. I love sports, especially the Phillies; I used to run Track; I love Duke Basketball,
- What is your favorite restaurant in Philadelphia? I don’t eat in the city too often, but I have been to the Butcher Bar a couple of times and would go again.
